New Year’s Resolution

It’s been many, many years since I created a New Year’s Resolution.  I believe the work we must do is a daily resolution.  Therefore, I have been waking up every morning over the past few years with a resolve to be the best I can; slay my goals; pull music from the static and let the challenges chisel me into a champion.  I learned this neat trick from my minister, Bro. Jim Love, that I believe can help transform us all.  Make an acrostic poem with the word resolution(s) for your personal purpose and improvement.  Here is mine:

Read more, watch less.

Encourage others daily.

Separate myself from people who do not make me better.

Occupy my life with prayer, positive talk, and progressive learning.

Love and live more!

Understand God’s will for myself and attempt to better understand others.

Trust God more!

Ignore past mistakes, keep the lessons, and push through to the future.

Open my mind more to the guidance and Power of the Holy Spirit!

Need God more!

What are your goals, guiding words, and hopes for this day, month, or year?

  1. Wait I did that wrong

R evaluate the things in lift that don’t bring me joy and remove them

E arn opportunities to prove to people I am good at the things I do.

S urrender myself into the belief that no one is perfect, but attempting to be the best version of themselves

O ffer assistance to those In need. Everybody needs someone, sometimes

L isten to my heart, even if it’s telling you something is bad for you

U nderstanding, know that was is meant for you God will put out there for you in some way, shape, or form

T alk it out with people. Lately I haven’t been expressing myself correctly, and sometimes all it takes is to vent to someone

I ntent. At the the end of the day what are your true intentions.. your intentions match up with your follow through so make it count

O pen your eyes and explore the world. Get out and explore the beauty of the world and the people in it

N ever give up on your goals. It’s a marathon, not a sprint

    1. My Plans, Hopes, and Goals for 2019:
1.) I have got to be more intentional with my relationship with God.
2.) I mean, I know in my heart I love God, but I know I don’t put Him first.
3.) I can be more intentional with changing daily habits such as reaching for my phone before taking time to give Thanks and Praises for even allowing me to open my eyes.
4.) Changing my mindset. Instead of dreading having to paint “all them chairs “, “dealing with all that”, change mindset to, This is an investment in my business.
      5.) Being more motivated.
6.) Push myself to paint more.
7.) Remind myself daily to Keep Pushing and…Keep Pushing!
